This glossy booklet is a flight guide for airstrips (and better) for Hunting Lodges and Game Parks in South Africa. These are the details you need to decide which to visit as a tourist combined with the information you need to know as a pilot. The Pilot Destinations publisher has provided me with a small stock of the publication so that it can be held in the UK to cut down the long and unpredictable delivery time from South Africa to Europe.

If you are considering some reasonably long flights within South Africa, you may also need AVIMAP - all the S.A. Air Charts in one book, with a flight guide built in - see below. AVIMAP allows you to plan well before you leave the UK, and is available at S.A. prices but at UK turn around times. For S.A. validations you need "SA on a PPL" to help you understand practical flying in South Africa, and pass S.A. Air Law ground exam.
